Season opener in Hancock
« on: July 24, 2022, 08:03:21 PM »
I’m wondering how close they are on closing their property down do the fire damaged. As far as I can remember since the west side moved the start of bear season to Aug 1. I dont thinking Hancock has ever opened that soon. It will be interesting.

If I was a betting man I would say it will close this week with the hot weather, hope I’m wrong

I’m thinking the same thing, but I hope we both are wrong.

They seem to be pretty conservative on their decision making but we had a lot of rain leading up to this point and there is still nice cool nights with heavy morning dew so hopefully they won’t lock it up

It’s so green, one week of hot shouldn’t shut it down, temps will be back down by the weekend.  But yeah, they seem to shut it down every year.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

I got a $20 bet with my boy that they won’t shut it down. I’m probably gonna owe him $20
