Salmon and Steelhead stamp for upper Columbia River.
« on: May 19, 2009, 06:59:30 PM »
What are your thoughts? Good or bad. I just read on another web site that they passed this bill in Olympia. It doesn't say how much the stamp will be. I guess if the runs really need that much help, it's a good idea. But if it's just another way to get our money than no. If the runs are in that much trouble than don't have a season. :twocents: I spent $181.00 on fishing and hunting tags, apps. and other fee's. Not including my wife and son. Now they want more. When will it end?

Hope you all like WEE hunting and fishing games because soon enough that will be our only option.  Unbelievable, just what they need more money to make more piss poor decisions with.  The runs don't need more freaking money to fix them, they need less idiot's  which make the poor decisions    I.E. (*idiot*) oops I mean Christine Gregour.

It will probably be like the king salmon stamp in Alaska.  Last time I bought one of those it was $50.  I can see this state charging $50 for a stinking salmon stamp after all it is us sportsmen who need to be penalized and not the tribes or commercial guys, right?

I was thinking today that I may not buy any hunting license (small game and big game) for WA this year. Just go upland in far eastern Montana maybe even buy the migratory stamps for Montana and travel to Great Falls to water fowl hunt with a buddy after the upland hunt. Just thinking so far, but it did ricochet through my mind today.
