WTB Traps
« on: October 09, 2022, 02:04:27 AM »
Is anyone selling any of their used traps? I’ll take anything, but mainly looking for large coyote/bobcat sized traps. The coyotes have been going crazy and I have goats out back on the property. Give me a message if so. Thanks

If coyote control is the concern and you're talking cage traps, you'll need a new plan. It's a very rare feat to cage trap a coyote.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

It may be easier and more efficient to give someone permission to come set up and take them.

Catching coyotes in a live trap doesn't work. You have better odds of being struck by lightning or winning the mega millions lottery.

All good above, multiple reasons for seeing if any traps are for sale, but I did mention hearing coyotes. I can shoot coyotes on the property as well. Just looking to buy used traps vs buying all new getting into trapping. Not to mention multiple people sharing coyotes they have trapped on here. Was not necessarily asking how to get rid of coyotes. Looking for all sizes of traps really

My Dad who passed away in August, has a fairly large collection of coniber traps and some leg hold traps that will need to go.  I will be around for about a week, then be in Mexico for a couple of weeks, so if you respond I may not see it until later in January.  Dave
