Good morning,

Elk season is on now, as in this weekend, in the Quilomene, right? I'm not a big game hunter but I do hunt chukar up there, and I want to make sure I'm safe up there. I also want to be vigilant about not spooking game for them if they're stalking an animal. I tend to hunt the finger canyons just below the ridges with my setter. My experiences with most elk hunters is that they usually ride their quads back and forth on the tops and glass the canyons for game. Anyway, I'd appreciate a heads up on how long the season up there lasts.

Opening of deer season today.  I believe elk might be closed.  Wear orange! Tribe is still harvesting elk heavily.

Quilomene is permit ONLY November7 to the 20th. That is ALL tribal up there this weekend. So tell me again how making the Colockum permit only could possibly stop this.

make the entire state 3pt of better. Problem solved in 3 years. quality goes down, tribal pressure will go down.
