What do you with the duck stamp while you are waiting for the real license to show up in the mail?

If it were me, I would just keep the two together and if a warden stops you, show him/her you have both. Explain the situation

That is what is what you are supposed to do. I think it even says that when you get the temp. Maybe written on it.

I have a temporary license and a temporary duck stamp I bought online from Wyoming.  I'm sure I'll probably end up in jail, but I just have both of them in my blind bag.

I have not attached my duck stamp to my license in 10 plus years as they print you a new one everytime you purchase something additional.  I just sign across the stamp and keep that entire piece the stamp is attached to in my wallet folded in half.  You just have to show that you have it and signed.  I typically am checked 5-8 times a season.
