Any archers hit a bull in the Washougal opening day?
« on: November 03, 2022, 11:21:04 PM »
Got a video in the washougal unit of a good bull that looks like he has been hit. High solid shoulder shot. He is moving fine and I have the same bull on cam through the first week of October and he is still going strong. Never got a good view in any of the videos of all of his headgear. Between this one and the other videos it looks like a good solid 5pt maybe a small 6.
Just thought I would throw this up in case anyone is being eaten up about a bull possibly going to waste. He seems to be going strong, at least as of Oct 2 when I got the last clip of him.

That's what it looks like to me. I hit a deer once just like that, passed through clean and didn't hit a single organ.  It got taken during modern and had a perfect, mostly healed over broadhead wound in the hide.

Whatever caused it, it doesn’t look like it bothered him much.

That's what a true sportsman does. It's called Stick and Release.  :chuckle:
