Dang.  You had me getting ready to get out the auger and the "tiny" rods.

Was ready to brave Boulder Pass.
Well you gotta take inventory, stretch out and get ready!

Last time I was on Boulder 2weeks ago was super rough, I’m sure it hasn’t changed.

Just drove past Williams Lake and there was 3 guys out there ice fishing. There can’t be much for ice thickness the middle is still wide open… I think I’ll wait.

There used to be an aerator in Williams. You may be seeing that.

What could possibly go wrong? If you stay away from the edge, you will be fine. Lots of the lakes are riddled with warm water springs.

Anybody been to hog canyon.
I wonder if they plow that road down to the lake.
Or if you still have to walk a mile in the snow.

Couldn’t imagine walking down to that lake in snow with gear.  I planted that lake for years until last year.  Even helped rehab it.  Miss that lake.  Might be a good one to take the kids to.

You want to go to Fish Lake by Lake Wenatchee. Easy fishery and lots of perch and trout.
