Colockum Late Archery
« on: November 29, 2022, 01:09:25 PM »
Just checking to see if anyone else on here drew a Colockum late archery tag. Depending on weather I'm going to try and head up Thursday for the weekend and locate a cow. Curious to see what this snowstorm will bring and how the elk will react. May be a shot in the dark  :dunno:  but I'm going to give it a try as I need some meat in the freezer.

Snows coming I see your from E Wenatchee come over the top and start looking for tracks . What hadn’t left for the sage country should be moving after the storm. There was a small group still around Judy’s tamarack farm. Picking are slim this year

Wenatchee side most of the elk have vacated the snow covered areas. Put on 40ish miles last week and only cut 2-3 fresh tracks.

They are low and headed towards vantage.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I appreciate all the input and advice, thanks everyone. Yeah it's not going to be an easy hunt but I am excited to finally have a chance to get out this year.
