Nicks First Mulie

My son Nick shot this buck on the second to last day of the hunt for him! he's a BBall player had had to get to tryouts so he was only able to spent 4 days with me hunting. Sure wish we coulda spent more time together.
Father and son!
Back at camp! Friends!
Overall it was a great hunt!!!! Nick passed on 5-6 bucks bigger on the first two days hoping for a big buck!! But finially the 14yr old part of him took over. Not wanting to eat a tag and with time running out he liked this buck!! I was very proud of him. I was begging him to shoot some of the bigger bucks we saw but he wanted to hold out for old mossy horns. He has no regrets and told me on his way home he'd still have passed on the bigger ones waiting for a monster. Say's he wouldn't change a thing! It's close to his biggest buck to date! And first Mulie buck!!!
A very special thanks to Garrett (Wamuleyhunter) for spending so much time with my son and I!!! Garrett is a stand up guy and did find several really good bucks for Nick to shoot! And showed us some great country!!
Thanks alot Garrett!!! Another new friend!!
I was able to spend quality time with my son and my friend Ron and his son from spokane! I only getta see Ron once a year since moving to the wetside 12 yrs ago!! Time spent with the Kids and Ron was awesome!! Three nice bucks was the icing on the cake!!!

Congratulations Guys! I was sure hoping that your son Nick was able to fill his tag before he had to go home. I talked to you guys a "Coopers" the day we were there with my buck. Great job! Love the pictures!

Cowboy That was us! I really like the pics of you walking up to your buck. Very cool! Still can't believe some of the bucks Nick passed on. It was a wonderful hunt. Even without the snow!
