Lab pups on craigslist
« on: June 02, 2009, 09:34:23 PM »
I just saw this on craiglist-spokane.  May be worth a look if you are in the market for a lab pup.

it's against the rules of CL to sell pets. i can't remember if it's privately or as a breeder...one way or the other. i'm sure thats why it got nuked.

Yeah I've never seen dogs advertised on craigslist. I always wondered why. Heck, prositutes sell their services on there, why can't somebody sell a puppy ???

they are strongly anti-puppy mill and there is no form of regulation there....anyone can sell anything essentially.

That makes sense. Never thought about that. I guess it makes even more sense seeing that they also won't let you sell a gun on there.

Most reputable breeders wont advertise in the paper, let alone CL...

This one did.  She pre-sold 9 pups at $600 each.... The dog had 11 and the lady's husband was shipping off to Iraq, so they needed to get rid of the other 2 quickly.  Their pups have won all sorts of field trials and dog show awards.  Yes, when I saw it posted on craigslist I thought, "this has got to be a puppy mill or something", but it was a very legit breeder in a though situation that worked out great for me.
