So, in about 2.5 miles in below the fog on the wind farm and so far I’ve only seen some range cattle.  March on.  Looks like it’s socked in up top.

Be happy you don't have an alkali tag next door. I haven't seen a single buck in 20 miles of hiking and hundreds driving trying to fill a cow tag. They call this the rut?

Thanks they were there on Thursday and the fog screwed us. I know they rode it Friday and Saturday but the fog was so thick. I’m not sure if they got them.

Bet it makes it tough! Do you/they intend on letting them get that low? Or do they get pushed? In 2018 dad had a muzzy bull tag, and we were down brushy working on cutting up his bull when we talked to a couple folks on horses looking for cows that had gotten pushed towards the bar. Always wondered if they found them, and was slightly jealous. Not that it’s all the glory that it seems, but I’d love to spend some time on the back of a horse in that country

The range lease covers all that from the river to the top. The weather kind of screwed them this year they usually just split up. Everybody takes a Canyon on a horse and pushes them up over the top of the park creek. Got 18 pair out of brushy on Thursday. One good thing is a cow needs water, so just check the water holes in the springs.

Well, I saw one spike Buck today, about 20 Does, and a bunch of Elk.  Several nice bulls to look at.  I did see a 3pt in a truck headed out, and maybe someone gutting one at almost dark.
