Tires, like many things, ask ten people get ten different answers so I won't make any suggestions on that since you likely already have many, but I will say before you buy a set see if Tire Rack has what you want and consider buying them from Tire Rack because they offer a free two year road hazard protection on the tires they sell.Last fall I bought a set of winter tires from TR for my wife's car. Typically I buy most of my tires from Discount Tire locally but they didn't have any and Tire Rack did and since they are owned by the same company I had them drop shipped to Discount Tire for the install. I never really paid attention to the road hazard protection plan TR offers, in fact, I'd completely forgot all about it until a few months ago my wife ran over something on her way home from the airport and it wrecked the tire. I ordered a replacement the next day on line and paid for it. As I was ordering it I noticed their tires come with the road hazard plan so I called them up explained I had already ordered and paid for the replacement and they said no worries we will get it refunded for you. Their protection plan is through a third party but they were great to deal with as well and walked me through all the steps and opened my claim for me. After opening the claim I sent them a couple pics of the tire and about two weeks later I had a check for the three hundred and some odd dollars the replacement tire cost me. All I had to pay was the mounting/balancing. There was no BS involved and no hoops I had to jump through. The tires on my wife's car are stupid expensive so I was happy to only have to pay for mounting and balancing.

I say -1 for bfg ko2. Garbage tires. I have had problems with every set I’ve owed. 1 set on a Tacoma, a Tahoe, and Chevy 1500. The set I had in the Tacoma broke a band. Many many flats on the chevys. Poor experience with these. I like the maxis razor m/t but that’s probably more moeny than you want to spend. A lot of people seem to like the falken wild peeks.
