Understand the Commission may lose Molly Linville and Lorna Smith may cure her violation as a result of this decision.

How so? Linville serves on a school board which is not county, state or municipal, therefore it doesn’t effect her.

I hope you are correct, Linville would be a huge loss.

Well, we should be following the anti-playbook now and sue the Governor's office, and Lorna for willful violation and to censure all decisions and votes of her tenure.  Reversal of spring bear would be good start as her illegal held position as proven to damage sportsman opportunity and access in direct violation of state Constitution.
All the commission would do is a re-vote with the same outcome.

I just live in reality. Even if Smith is booted, all Inslee will do is reappoint someone exactly like her. If she stays on, nothing changes. If she stays on and her previous votes are void, the commission can re-vote and we'll likely have a similar outcome.

The antis were fighting the same battle of a commission that wouldn’t listen to them, until they suddenly weren’t. EVERY win is a win. They snuck in the cancellation of spring bear on a technicality when it wasn’t supposed to be up for a vote, and rode the inertia to keep it cancelled. IF they need to do it all over again there is a better chance it won’t work than if we wait decades to get a balanced commission that votes with the recommendation of biologists.
What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

Sorry but they didn't "sneak in the cancelation of spring bear on a technicality". They had to vote to approve the season (like they do with all seasons) and the vote failed, thus no season.

On a technicality? Try more like Smith and Rowlands personal agenda

This "win" doesn't seem like the big gain it should be. Smith stays on the comission and Linville leaves what does that gain us? I wonder why Sportsmen Alliance didn't join the WWC suit?

She shouldn't get to "decide" to stay.
Her appointment was illegal and she should be immediately removed. Any actions the commission took during her illegal participation should be null and void... force them to re do everything regardless of outcome...
And...
Force Jay to decide if he wants to re appoint her with the pending suit's for his other willful violations. And risk loosing her again....

By voiding all votes during her time it would essentially close all hunting and fishing seasons until they re-approve them...

I believe thats a stretch to say close all seasons. If that happened they would have a special commission meeting to reapprove

So wouldn't this make the guy that appointed her also in violation...
W4WC.org specifically named him in the suit that's been filed, as well as the 5 activists on the board for violating our RCWs.

Any updates on what is happening with that lawsuit John?

One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job. ~ Jose Ortega y Gasset

I haven't heard anything, but it's only been a few weeks since the suit dropped. I'm quite sure they're in the process of filing dozens of motions, requests for summary judgements, etc. That can take months. That's why this is such an expensive proposition. It's not the actual court time. @Special T

The posts state that the first court hearing is October 13th. I would imagine they are in the process of discovery. Meaning they have/are subpeonaing records communications and such. In addition to doing research.

This process is painfully slow for us all,  also as much as we might like to know all the juicy details it would be really bad tactics to show your hand before court.
