I tried that year. He vanished and I looked all last summer. Found out why as he moved quite a long ways away and was killed last November by a bow hunter. Scored 174” figured the year I hunted him he was near 180” . The velvet buck I did kill

Velvet buck is nothing to sneeze at.
He is a good one too. Those deer are impressive.🤤
