I Got One

I got him.  My eyes are going bad in my old age.  Missed a bigger one a few days ago.  Got my arrow back and drilled this buck this morning.  Old school Game Getter aluminum arrow with a Muzzy broadhead.  He only went a little ways. 

Feeling mighty thankful that the Good Lord blessed us with meat for the freezer!

Yes.  I was inspired by @3nails YouTube video this morning, so I went out and tried it.  About 10 minutes later, a whole herd of deer- 5 does, a spike and this one.  What do you know about that!

Thanks for the mini rattling seminar this morning, 3nails.  I've tried it before and this morning it worked.  The one thing I did differently is thump the ground between rattles, the way you did.  Worked like a charm!   :tup:

Congrats Smokepole beautiful buck!  Very cool that your rattled him in as well.

Most importantly I've never heard your mantra "Sit on your butt and what for the rut!" but clearly you have something there.  I can see it now seminars, podcasts, flat brimmed hats, hoodies, t-shirts, Youtube channels.  Your fixin to blow up as the cool kids say!
