That's a tough area to pull bucks out of. Lots of does but bucks are few and far between until the rut rolls around. Nice work.

Nice buck congrats. So you only hunted the rifle season of your multi season permit before tagging out?

no i hunted the last bit of high buck, early muzzle, modern, and late muzzy, i shot this buck on the last day of late muzzy on the last afternoon, i hunted lots of new areas this year and had opportunities at some much bigger bucks in modern but it just didn't pan out.

Its a beautiful area and a fun hunt, i saw lots of rubs and does but only two other bucks that were just above their ears two points. i want to come back and do some coyote hunting this winter, saw plenty of them.
