looks good Mike, we had meatloaf, not sure there is anything Irish about that but we had corned beef a couple days ago and the wife didn't want it again.  I could eat corned beef 3 days a week!
“In common with”..... not so much!!

We eat bangers and mash in elk camp but I never knew it was Irish - I always thought it was an English pub thing
I slow cooked a piece of corned beef on the pellet grill and thought it turned out good. I paired it with some garlic potatoes and apple slices. I think ill run what's left through the grinder with an onion and make some hash out of it.
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

Yeah I hadn’t even heard the term bangers and mash till yesterday morning when my wife wanted to cook that for dinner instead of corned beef. lol🤷🏻‍♂️. I’m taking her word it’s Irish lol

I think the Irish can probably claim anything with potatoes being a major component of the meal  :chuckle:

Ordering a steak in Ireland was a different experience. The rib eyes are smaller than ours. They recommended it medium well, and they always come with a mustard type (yet slightly sweet) dipping sauce. Really good though!
