Things are pretty quite this year in here, I'm suspecting this is the week though.

I am pretty sure every year I think about WA draws less and less. I still apply but don't really give them much of my energy because of the high likliehood that I see not selected just like every other year. I just do my thing and almost forget that its happening until I see a post on here about results. Even then, I am in no rush to go check.  :dunno:

I think thousands are in the same boat, a decade ago or more before people realized just how little their points mattered there was alot more excitement for the draw.

Agreed. Points are mearly a way to track how long you've been applying. People that get mad because they have X amount of points and didn't draw, should look elsewhere for their frustrations.

30 points or 1 point, it really is a lottery for OIL and the higher end quality tags. For every guy with 20+ that draws there seems to be the guy that draws with 3.

With OIL’s, statistically, the peeps w more points do draw.  The elk and deer permits usually go more to the guys w 6-12 points cause there is way more of them compared to guys w 20+ points.  That’s just how it is.  But it doesn’t bother me at all that the guys w 25+ points think they should draw or even expect it, a quarter of a century is a bit of time.  I pull for all the high points guys/gals every year, and yeah, I think they deserve it.  Flame away.

I'm actually hoping the paper regulations saga kinda kept the draws off the main stream radar.
That everyone that did put in this year has thousands of a percent better chance to draw.
We would of had better odds for sure if they didn't extend the deadline.

Well I’ve made it this far without commenting. I’m thinking Wednesday or Thursday. My house has 46 apps in, hopefully we can pull something.

I heard Oregon is Wednesday.  Do all of the western states use the same third party to administer the draw? or do they even use outside companies?

From ODFW - controlled and premium hunt draw results will be available June 12.

Last few years they have been consistent with the day they say they will be available. Sad part is, i know i didn't draw Oregon.
