Fur Corner
« on: June 01, 2024, 07:51:18 AM »
I live in an old house built in 1912 and there are picture rails in every room. Got some new wire hooks for my fur corner.

From left to right, WA Coyote (October Female), 2 Arizona Gray Fox (called in on the same set and shot with a shotgun), Texas Bobcat (22 pounds, called in at night while hog hunting), WA Skunk (trapped), 2 WA coyotes (Smaller October male and a large February Male)

Really wanting to add a badger to the mix at some point. Can only hope.

Anybody else have a fur wall or other fur display for inspiration?

There are a few things I miss about Alaska.

We have a trappers wall in our cabin.  It is an entire wall I have dedicated to old / antique trapper tools, traps, etc.  Currently it has a bear hide hanging (small Washington bear I shot) and a mink (I think) that was gifted to me.  The entire family got our trappers license so we could add to the wall in the coming years.  I just need to find time in the winter to get after it.  I love the idea of a couple coyotes, badger, bobcats, etc....

Thanks for sharing.

If you were referring to me, I didnt. 1 Bobcat and the Martin was tanned by my Cousin and the other 2 were done by a Taxidermist

Thanks for sharing! Interesting coloring on that coyote!

Love the double bobcat. I haven’t been able to trap one up here in WA, but was lucky enough to call this one (the one hanging) down in Texas.
