Well done!   You got him!  That’s how hunting should be done.  What a great buck.

Heck yeah!  Congrats Karl on a well earned brute!  I cannot fathom the work involved to get it done.   Getting close to it in that environment was no easy task.   So what's the tally on bug bites, snake seen,  and yotes seen?

The WOW factor of that buck is breathtaking! True monarch, 43” of mass is unreal. Between that, his height, and body size I bet he’s even wider as well than most would suspect, when a buck gets that big it seems they can just snowball in ground growth. Congrats man can’t wait for the full story!

Most of us would love to just lay eyes on a buck like that let alone get him on the ground. Congrats on a true giant! Goes to show that hard work and dedication pays off.

Incredible buck that is a great payoff for the hard work and time spent out there.  I'm glad that it worked out for you.

I just don't understand all the sharing of the negatives of the desert experience unless you are trying to increase your future draw odds.  Everyone knows its a slam dunk hunt for big deer. LOL.

Fantastic buck. Looking forward to more of the story!

Worth the heat and the bugs I suppose?
