There is an Elk god…
« on: July 01, 2024, 10:03:31 PM »
and he was shining on me today. Umm, something perplexing happened today after taking a day off from work, after a long day of having my roof replaced (roofing company did an awesome job).  Walked out to the mailbox around 4:30 to grab the mail when the crew were on the last section of the roof. Got my three pack of Amazon ordered golf gloves (sweet!).  Great but expensive day so far. Navigated through the plethora of old roofing material heaved off the old roof, went inside, and gave Mrs Wapiti the hand full of other, non important mail. After a few minutes, she asked “what is this from IDF&G”?  Still can not believe it…. I was selected again, for the second time in 4 years for a very good SW Spud State archery elk tag  And now the work begins since I have a good hunt to plan for. I won’t be so picky this time (it was my downfall last time).  Here we go……

Make sure by checking your login account.
They mailed out some incorrect results by mail.
Hope I'm wrong.

easy to know if you actually drew a tag. It will be online under your account and an option to purchase the tag you drew. If its not listed then you did not draw and is one of the thousands of notifications that were sent out by accident

Yup, my wife handed me a post card from them last night that said I was selected. Unfortunately I had already seen the unselected results online. Almost like salt in the wound...

Lots of hate going on at IDFG
Everything from lawsuits, to everyone gets a tag, to redraw....how do you prove which results are legit, online or mailed....
Well done 3rd party vendors...

It had nothing to do with actual draw. It was only the mailed notifications part of it .
