knight bighorn hands down
CP - I had the same problem with my remington and getting the breech plug, but I started putting some anti-sieze breech plug stuff that TC made, and it improved the ability to turn the breech plug without a vise.
All great advice. I really don't care if it is traditional or modern. I want the best bang for my buck and an accurate/realiable muzzle loader. I have read alot about peep sights and think that is the way to go, so probably a model that will take an aftermarket peep.
How do the Traditions muzzle loaders rank??? The seem to be inexpensive??
that bad huh??? They are pretty cheap
You can still find new Knight Bighorns in the stores. There's even been a few places that have had them on a Father's day sale.
