Any hope left to get one in western Washington this year?

i'm still looking, but haven't stumbled on any sign recently. I think they are hanging out in high elevations, but honestly, can't confirm that myself haha

Just shot and missed one tonight. Held a little too high for what I needed and shot over its back. So they are still moving around.

Saw tracks in the snow today that were a couple days old, mind you they were of a young bear.

Had a fatty on trail camera yesterday.  Roughly 2500' elevation.

Any idea what he's eating at this point?

Right now, the bear I shot at was about 1500 feet in elevation. It was in the clear cut tearing up a stump. I’m assuming grubs and bugs.

I was just filtering my cell camera images from the past couple years in unit 663. There are never bears on my cams in November. Most of their on camera activity is August-September. It does make me wonder where they go.
