OBS Ford headlights
« on: November 20, 2024, 05:11:23 AM »
What brand of replacement headlight assembly have you had good luck with?  My 94 needed new ones so I bought a pair from LMC, they are Depo brand and they suck. When I search for them I’m overwhelmed with all the knock off brands and mixed reviews. They suck ti change so I only want to do it one more time!

I just put some new ones on my 96. Got them from RockAuto. TYC was the brand. They seem fine so far. Fit was really good.

They are a pain to put in. I found it easier to take off the whole grille and cowling.

Does Hella make replacement factory housings? I haven’t seen them in all the searches.

Thanks, I did order a set off rock auto after I read a forum thread about them, should be here tomorrow so I’ll change them out again this weekend. See if I have any cuss words left over from last weekend 😂

I put these projector beam type headlights on my '97 F350 OBS. I like them alot. I think they look much better and I can see much better than OEM style on the dark backroads. I have halogen bulbs in them right now but want to try LEDs to see how they work. I bought these off Amazon but don't remember the brand name.
