Price on Leica CRF 900 Rangefinder
« on: June 21, 2009, 10:07:26 AM »
Is around $425.00 for this rangefinder a good price?  I see this on Ebay and they have a bunch for $449 Buy It Now.  I know these are good and was curious what you all think.  Thanks

The Leica crf 900 is 429.99 at   http://www.cameralandny.com/ and if you tell them you are monstermuley member you get it for 379.99.

Thanks for the input.  Man I wish I had known about cameralandny before I put my bid into Ebay.  Wonder if I can get out of that? :dunno: :bash:  Or maybe talk the seller into reducing the price if I win the bid. :dunno:

Doug and Joel at Cameraland have been great to deal with and I aways purchase from them if they carry what I'm after.

Well, I called these cameralandny dudes and the discount price is $429.99 period.  No $50 discount for being a monstermuley member.  That's ok, $429.99 is a very good price for this rangefinder.  Funny thing about the Ebay deal...it was their store product I was bidding on! :rockin:  So after talking with them, I ordered it today instead of the ebay bidding thing and should have it by next week sometime.  Another toy to play with! :IBCOOL:

I Like-a Leica CRF 900

I just took delivery today on a 900 CRF today, from Euro-Optics.  I paid $436 via the auction route on eBay.  They provided prompt delivery.  I took it out (had to) and tested its ability under my real-world conditions and was very pleased.  There wasn't a place I could point it under 800 yards or so that I couldn't get a measurement.  A few measurements came back over 900 yards.

I had no trouble getting returns off the brown grass, dirt or sage.  I am delighted with the choice.  I'd bought a Bushnell Scout 1000 last year and it pooped out after about 250 yards. Sold it cheap.

I like-a Leica!
