Idaho has been my biggest let down out of all the states, used to pick up our elk tags in town on the way to hunt.  I could play the game of trying now, but how the F can you try and do a yearly traditional group hunt this way??  4 guys try separately, one guy gets a tag…. Have fun.  So disappointing.

Yeah, it's a real bummer. Trying to hunt with a buddy for the first time in years and he is #43,000

Ended up number 120 on the phone and was able to buys tags for my buddy and I.
Never hunted Idaho before, this ought to be a fun whitetail hunt!

I got 12,xxx. Looks like the #'s are starting to move quicker. Most of the elk tags that sell out fast are gone.

I was 2618 and my unit wasn't onnthe sold out list when I logged in. By the time I got into the tag choices it was gone😭

Online, when only 250 people had gone through the line, DAV Elk tags had already sold out. There were 300 available. Looks like if you are a vet wanting an elk tag you need to do it in person.

My friend who lives in Montana drove to Idaho and got in line at a license vendor and was able to get all 5 of us deer tags! Woohoo

Was in line at 4910 and went to buy a tag and the page started loading and then kicked me back to the line at 52000+. Frustrating because one of the units I wanted was still available. Gone now
