Went out duck hunting and we got the deeks all set up and the blind all set up.  Got in the blind had my coffee and then it was about 10 minutes before opening time.  The birds were already landing in the decoys.  Went to grab my gun and couldn't find it.  At first I though it had fallen out on the way over.  Headed back to the rig.  No gun, woke the wife up and she headed down stairs.  It was in the case next to the door.  I had left it at home.  I was designated caller until my buddy shot his limit.  :bash:
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I have never forgot her again if that helps. Also all I hear now about every 20 minutes over the radio, what are you doing? Are you there? or pssssst just checking in. So now with me being half deaf I spend half my time with the radio to my head or it turned up loud.

My dad had the spring bear tag this past spring, and the guy we got the key from said "make sure it fits in the lock before you drive past an open gat" but we forgot.  Drove up the road, came down and it was locked.  6:00 on a Friday night, everybody up there was all ready headed out when we came up.  We where 13 miles up from the nearest public road, and it sucked.  But the guy that locked us in (on purpose)  told the security gaurd and he came up and found us.

LOL that's awesome!!  that one made me laugh pretty hard.  I bet that "not a good night in camp" was a slight understatement!!   :chuckle:

Hmmmm. Maybe you forgot the wife for some sub-conscience reason??? :dunno:
I forgot my realease on the hood of my buddies truck as we drove off one time in eastern OR. I was like, well I'll just shoot with my fingers. So I took a practice shot and, yeah that wasn't going to work. My buddy went hunting and I went looking for my release. I found it right were the truck was parked!! Lucky me....
I was going scuba diving with my cousin a few years ago and he forgot ALL of his dive gear at home..We were 3 hours from his house..How does one go on a dive trip and forget EVERYTHING ???? He does dumb sheet like this ALL the time. He's actually pretty entertaining to have around....
