Golden retriever breeder recommendations
« on: March 26, 2025, 06:25:37 PM »
My parents are looking to get a golden female puppy.

House dog hunting dog combo.

Any recommendations for reputable breeders?

My dog is from Skyriver Goldens in Ellensburg. I've been around a lot of dogs. Couldn't ask for anything more in a bird dog and family dog.

I have a friend who used to breed them. I think she is still breeding them in kitsap area.

I can get contact info if you want.  Last time I checked her puppies were going for about 2k each.

Thank you all, we will look into these.

What is the going rate for a good puppy from a quality breeder these days? I see birdshooter gave the 2k number last he knew, which is around what I was guessing, but would love to hear from others what they are seeing. With prices changing so fast these days it's hard to keep up.

I don't think Chris is breeding much anymore.

Same here.  Choral has great all around Goldens. I wouldn't go anywhere else unless I was looking for a FT Golden, in which case you'd better get on a waitlist now and start saving up.

Patti and Choral are tight and their breedings overlap heavy.
