Posting on here for my dad as well, drew Bull Moose Aladdin A Early. Looks like we might be switching our bear plans in August to a scout/hunt.

If anyone has experience in the unit and willing to share, please reach out. We will definitely make a couple scouting trips.
Wow, pretty cool. I drew the Selkirk tag. Tell your dad  congrats.

I've seen a lot of scouting activities going on ,in all the northeast units since the draw.
Bear hunting/scouting sounds like a great idea.
Goodluck out there.👍

Hey Ethan, great to hear from you and congratulations on the tag! Crazy you guys drew the same year, I'll let him know.

My buddy drew the Chelan Butte any ram. We've already scouted it a few times and plan to do much more. I truly think I'm more excited for the hunt than he is!

I enjoy reading this forum, haven't posted for many years. I have been putting in for OIL for 23 years! I got the draw results on my phone in June and to no surprise I received an e-mail saying (Unsuccessful on all draws). I was at work, I was PO'd and cursing under my breathe for the better part of an hour. I haven't been drawn for anything in the last 9 years. I finally decided to look up this depressing result on the WDFW website. When I opened the site, I seen three successful results. I was baffled because of the prior e-mail. However, I was drawn for disabled hunter cow tag in the northeast GMU 113 and 117 with two seasons. I was drawn for a muley doe tag in the Roosevelt area GMU 133 and ........ drawn for any Bull moose in 49 Degrees North (late season). I was in shock. My elk cow tag overlaps with my moose tag for two days. really excited. I live close to this area and have the support of my hunting partners (6) of us. We have hunted together for 20+ years. Fortunately, I am able to take 45 days off if needed for Elk/Moose seasons. I will keep you posted on results of both. OORAH!!
