Was out in MA 13 over the past few days. Yep, boats are starting to net a few pinks.

MA11 was solid yesterday. Had one big school come through right at slack tide. Looked like 4-5 boats hooked up all around the same time as me. Even had time to net, bonk, bleed, mark my card, and catch a second fish from the same school.

Good numbers of pinks in 11. We fished it yesterday (Sunday) and had double hookups while trolling. Also caught them with buzz bombs. And landed a 14# hatchery King. So great day on the water.

Me and a couple friends casted buzz bombs from shore at Scenic Beach state park for a few hours saturday evening around high tide. Saw quite a few fish jumping further out beyond casting range. We didn't get a single bite.
Going to try again this evening, in a small boat off-shore this time.

My brother and I got skunked again last night on Hood canal near scenic beach state park. Took my little boat out for a few hours around high tide. Casted buzz bombs, spoons, and spinners. Had 2 pinks chase spinners up to the boat. One bit but didn't stick. There were occasional fish jumping. Didn't appear to be schooled up.
I'm hearing the action is a lot better near point defiance in area 11. Might try there. I've just got a 10' aluminum boat with electric trolling motor. I'm a little nervous about bigger water and boat traffic. And also finding a spot to launch that isn't full already.
I'm thinking about launching near Southworth ferry in Port Orchard and then motor around Blake Island. If anyone has tips for that area, or other areas that would be good for a boat as small as mine I'd be happy to accept them. My boat isn't trailered, it slides in the back of my truck. 2 people can slide it out and carry it to the water, so I don't need a boat ramp to launch.

Not sure about the boat, guys rent little twelve footers at Pt Defiance but the are deeper side wall and design for running out there.. if they aren't hitting buzz bombs or spoons, get some jigs. They out fished anything we used last week. If you were into jumpers you should get bit.

A few hanging around in 13. Certainly not the mad schools in 11 but we hooked into a half dozen yesterday. We picked some up where we could find jumpers but it was tough getting right on them. Saw some big schools running but couldn't get those to bite. The seals were eating well though

Picked up 7 last night between four of us near the mouth of the yallup. Lost a few at the net. Kinda weird, as slack tide nears and it gets closer to sunset the bite really turns off. 4pm was more productive than 7pm.
One person was using a Disney princess pushbutton rod so, it was more like 7 fish between 3.5 people

Pinks are stupid thick in Puyallup.. actually some quality bright ones coming in. Saw a couple kings landed and even some silvers.. it was the usual crowd but not worse than usual if you know what to expect. It was this morning on a work day though. Go get them and embrace the chaos and you'll have a good time. It's great people watching if anything. If you want a quiet day fishing, wellllll, might want to stay away... Lol
If you have young ones, people were actually pretty accommodating

They were really thick in 8-2 last two days, should be moving up into the Snohomish anytime. The salty ones were a mix of fairly fresh and those that have definitely started coloring and developing humps. Still plenty of opportunity in the salt in area 9 if you want to bag a few.
