How’s everyone doing in the Commencement Bay Area lately? I’ve been hitting a semi popular pier for the last week and feel like it’s slowing down. Doesn’t help that this particular spot seems to get hot and cold with no relation to tides. Super random, been out there all hours of the day and all sorts of tide conditions.

I wish I could tell you but I just can't make myself go catch pinks when there's kings like this to be caught

My brother and I motored our little boat around for about an hour and a half the other night right in front of the mouth of the puyallup.  Didn't get a single bite. Didnt' see many jumping.  We were there from about 6:30-8pm.  Hope to go back again soon earlier in the day and when we have more time.

@buglebuster haha agreed, maybe next year when I have a real boat! That's a sweet fish!

Yeah I think it's pretty much over for that area. Picked up one buck yesterday, getting real humpy and soft. Only saw a dozen or so caught between a 2 hour AM session and ~3 hour afternoon session.

Do all the bucks cut this white when they start getting that way? Gonna jerky this one, see how it goes.

Dang bugle, that is a hog!!!  Nice fish..

And yes, any pick turning color is not good..  with a hump already forming and that big, those are throw aways.

Yeah, they aren't great eating when they hump up like that.

Well it ain’t over in MA11 yet. Picked up 5 this evening with a couple buddies, nice and bright still, no humps on the bucks. Felt like there was a lull there and a new wave is coming through.

Is 23 pinks on your catch card something to brag about or be embarrassed about??  :chuckle:

For all dem corky folks!!!
Maturity is when you have the power to destroy someone who did you wrong but instead you breathe, walk away, and let life take care of them.
