Heading down next week with front stuffers 🤞🤞🤞
Maybe I'll run into you....

We’ll be hunting the public land around Mossyrock and in the Winston
Gotcha....I'll be in the Toutle unit.  Here's hoping for a good hunt for both of us!

Absolutely
Good luck to you
I like the Toutle
I’ve had that permit a couple times for archery and got 2 brush bulls out of the state patch

I know a couple guys that had the mudflow tag and they did not fill it. Saw one guy get one out of the toutle
I actually heard all 7 Mudflow tags went unfilled.

Here is my 2025 Archery mudflow bull. I know one other guy with the tag and he tagged out on the last day and I seen pictures of another bull killed opening morning. It was a pretty tough hunt we did see a lot of bulls but they were not very vocal. We chased a few bugles in the first few days but they would go silent as soon as we got in tight. Ended up glassing this bull up on the mudflow in the evening and the next morning went and got him to bugle in a small alder patch and chased him around all day till he let us get close.

Family member had the Norway Pass rifle tag. He tagged out on a 270ish inch 5x5 opening morning. Lots of elk, they where bugling like crazy. Tried to call in a 7x8 but he wasn't leaving his cows that where in the Loowit.

My daughter has the quality rifle tag. We live about 15 minutes from the unit so we've been up scouting quite a bit. I still believe it is one of the best quality tags on the west side, and one of the coolest places to hunt elk! Hopefully pictures will be coming after next weekend.

I had that tag in 2023 and agree. There’s nothing like hunting elk next to an active volcano
