Adjustable hitch stinger

Any recommendations for a decent one that fits tight (wont rattle) for a 2.5" receiver?

I have a Fastaway that has a pin that winds out to take up slop in the receiver.  It’s 2” though.  Dunno of they have a 2.5” version.

I really like it as you don't get a stub sticking out below the hitch when you set it for a lower drop.  Easy to adjust and I love the quick change ball system as I have trailers with three different ball sizes.

The only downside I have seen is that for trailers with chains that are already tight, you might need to add a link or two, or upgrade to longer chains as the hitch sticks out quite a ways.  I think I had to get a new chain on one of my trailers, the others were all fine.

Clarification...  I got the 2 inch version, not the 2.5 inch version.  I assume the 2.5 inch version is just as good.

I use a channel hitch with two pin.  I don't remember the make of it, but it is pretty awesome and allows me to switch ball size and height in seconds.

They do make sleeves for 2 1/2" to 2" if that is an option.

Thats the one I opted for.  We'll see how much it moves, may try one of the tightener thingys

I think you will like it, but snug fit probably varies from hitch to hitch.  I like the looks of that hitch snugger!

It seems to be very well built, I like it. Towed a car trailer 300 miles today, it did rattle a bit, and put little dents in the aluminum. Not sure if thats normal or not. Will try the tightener thing soon.

I have weigh safe adj. height hitches in both 2 and 2.5 the drawbar is aluminum.  Neither size fits tight in the receiver and I can rattle it around with my hand but I don't ever hear it or feel it when I'm towing something but it does leave a tiny little dent in one spot on the drawbar.  It hasn't really gotten any worse so other then visually inspecting it every so often I don't worry about it.

Being that my drawbars are aluminum and the receiver it goes in is steel it may be a good idea there is a little movement between the two so it doesn't gall.
