GMU 368 Nasty Creek Rd Access (Gate)

Might fit in access section but wanted to throw this out there for upcoming Modern Elk. Information only.

The previously discussed gate on Nasty Creek Rd is locked. Photo is from last Friday (Oct 17) afternoon and I can confirm it was locked Saturday (Oct 18) afternoon. No decent turnaround for anyone with a trailer so beware.

I'd be curious to see if that gate is still closed with modern elk opening tomorrow.

Yeah. This is a sad and very frustrating situation. I have heard DNR and WDFW are hands off on this restriction of access to public lands.

I suspect there will be lots of folks that show up there today and tomorrow who have been going there for decades that cannot get through. If it remains closed it is going to create a mess of jammed up rigs.

I was up there Friday and the lock was gone again, so looks like folks are up there hunting
