I was going to head up there looking for some critters next weekend.  How far up 5900 is the road closed?  And for what reason is it closed?  Thanks

From what I understand from the Forest Circus, the road should be open. Their news release says Pomas fire closure rescinded/open.........I dont believe them until I see it with my own eyes.

That's a nice buck.  8) Somewhere, there's a sad-faced archery hunter...
I wonder if he tried to take a head-shot on a bedded deer on purpose, of if it was one of those "Man, more wind than I thought..." shots... :dunno:
