New Hunter
« on: November 03, 2025, 09:36:12 PM »
Hello all, recently moved to the Spokane area this year and am only in my 2nd year of waterfowl hunting. I don't have a boat or dog so access to areas is pretty limited. Just curious if anyone is willing to help out someone who is new to the sport and area. Went to Hog Canyon today and found I couldn't really wade more than 3 feet into the lake before going absolutely under. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

You willing to drive? Take full advantage of "open seat" hunting situations, you are just a stones throw, from the potholes. Keep your eye on the forum, opportunities are to be had! Now that a majority of the general big game seasons are done, guys will start switching to duck and geese.
