RRS Lever Release Clamp for Ball Head
« on: November 05, 2025, 08:15:33 AM »
Anyone know which RRS lever release clamp would be best on a ball head for coyote hunting?

I have a ball head with a screw clamp now but it's tough to get the arca plate in there in the dark and operate the screw with gloves on.

Looks like the Anvil 30 comes with the ARC-LR RRS-LOCK, so maybe that's the move?

I’ve got the anvil 30 on a tfct34 tripod. Absolutely love it. Super fast and easy to swap from spotting scope to rifle.

Yeah I went with a DLOW-55 ball head, but I'm realizing the screw clamp is not ideal in the dark or with gloves on. I decided to shoot RRS an email with the question too. Seems like the ARC-LR is the move but it'll be nice to get some confirmation before ordering.
