Wasted Bethel bull
« on: November 08, 2025, 09:14:32 AM »
Found this one on the first Sunday of general elk. Hunting the little rattlesnake area. Found on the ledge below the ridge road. Shot a small bear 20' from him.

Well, that’s sucks, I certainly wouldn’t leave that behind.    Yeah I know the law.   Congrats on the bear!
“In common with”..... not so much!!

So someone shot a bear and a big bull in the same spot and left them?   What a waste.

Not the way I read it.  He shot a bear (likely feeding on the carcass) of the elk (which we don't know how it died).

Didn't look. Had a permit holder stop at our camp Tuesday morning asking about a way to get up above the rocks. Said Monday he heard shooting and seen some cows with a bull that looked shot headed up the rocks. Just assumed it was this bull.

Did you call DFW
Enforcement should have a list of permit holders .. couple quick calls could of solved the puzzle.
Otherwise it's poached or tribal.. I'm guessing either way they'd love to look into it.
