Seen 2 get taken. VERY VERY busy in my normal area, and way less deer there. Tried Swakane proper 1 day, never saw a deer. They are all spread out still up to 6K feet, where I did miss a shot at a smaller 4x.....never ever had a buck string jump a shot before now, and frustrating that it's my fastest bow ever.

Had my first buck string jump sixty years ago. Over the years I have had another four happen. Did not seem to matter what speed the arrow was. The first was with a recurve and heavy wooden arrow. As time went on the bows and arrows changed with more speed each change. When I quit bowhunting I was using a compound bow set at 110 pounds pull with 50 percent let-off. Did not seem to matter with the jumping for some reason. It was extremely frustrating if you spent two hours maneuvering around with the wind and terrain to have the buck jump the string. Hopefully your miss happened without hours of effort on your part.
