Trap Check Time
« on: December 10, 2025, 01:32:10 PM »
Does this mean I can check my traps via cell camera?

Trap check requirements
"Restraining traps (any non-killing set) must be visually checked (via binoculars, trail camera, spotting scope, or in person) each calendar day and captured animals must be removed within 24 hours of capture."

I know my Moultrie Mobile can do a daily check in photo. If you need a photo at a specific time every day, Spartan can be programmed that way.

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

That's the way I read it, and that's how I check my traps 99% of the time.

Yes cell cams are legal but you have to have a pic sent daily ( I believe)

That is a super good point. I think if I ever go this route, I would be building a rain box with a little metal roof  :chuckle:
