My archery buck
« on: November 24, 2007, 04:27:05 PM »
Well just got back it from camp. I did not get the big one this year but got meat for the freezer. It was pretty slow not much snow seen a couple of big bucks but no go.This one stood at 60 yards and stared at me about 5 minutes in my walk so i tend 2 get a little trigger happy. I ended up passing up this buck on the openeer but got him the next day.TIME FOR DUCK SLAMMIN NOW.

Way to go, any buck with a bow is a real trophy. Looks like Swakane?

i talked to a buddy over there last night, they saw a decent buck 600 yards away, made the move on him, when they got there, he was gone never to be seen again.

I'd say it was cold over there.  Here's what my truck said on the way over at 5:00am.  It might have made it up to 20....

DAMN...headed over there sunday a.m. to tag along with FANATIC.  last year i sat on my ass in the snow for 2.5 hours not moving so i didn't blow a stalk...i thought i'd never walk again. i think it was 12 degrees or so then too.
