St Patrick’s day
« on: March 16, 2026, 01:35:40 PM »
Looks like the corned beef, cabbage and potatoes for tomorrow’s eats.  And some traditional drinks.   :brew:

What’s on your menu?

What’s on your menu?

You can keep the Corn Beef and cabbage and potatoes, But I will definitely take that bottle of Red breast 12 year

Bushmills, Proper No. 12, Jamison are my go to's, Red Breast 12, is when I feel pretty  :chuckle:

There is an Irish Pub "The Black Raven" about a mile from my house that has an extensive Irish Whiskey library, and have fantastic fish and chips. They have live traditional Irish music Thursday thru Saturday, and of course all day on ST. Patrick's day. Their special is a double shot of Red Breast and a pint of Guinness for $9.00 on ST. Patrick's day.  :party1:

That's a great deal!  Add some Irish cream and you can make an Irish car bomb, but maybe that's not the best use of Red Breast.

Looks great! We had the traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner at The Legion last Friday night. 54 dinners served - big night - and it went very well.

Ahhh the problem with being retired is you forget what day it is. St Paddy’s slipped right by without me even knowing. My wife reminded me in the evening after I complimented her on her green sweater.

Not a clue

Don't do it Ghosthunter!  :bdid:  It's not worth it.
You earned your calendar-free living.  Besides, you're retired... you can drink green beer whenever you want! :brew:
