Swarovski SLC Tripod Adapter
« on: July 12, 2009, 07:24:12 PM »
Anyone know of a good place to pick up a SLC Tripod Adapter?  Cheapest I've found so far is $109.

Thanks Phool.  I saw that.  Is the Swarovski adapters that much better than a different manufacturer?  I found some different ones that are considerably less.  I know...you get what you paid for.

just make sure the threads are the same, wouldnt surprise me if Swaro used a different setup forcing you to purchase theirs.

Good point on the threads.  Wouldn't have thought of that.  Wouldn't surprise me if they had different threads.

Check out the Outdoorsman's system.   I think it is the best.  I have the Swarovski adapter for my 15's and it works pretty well, just kinda bulky for its purpose.  I have an Outdoorsman tripod, pistol grip head, and EL adapter on order.  They are awesome, but not cheap.
