Postin in a few place but heard a rumor that units 4 & 5 wouldn't be open this year for the 2 day early goose anyone got anything on this?
I don't always kill limits in those 2 days but I do sure like to get out and relax if nothin else it beats the heck out of workin .

They released a letter that they were studying the decline of resident geese, so they were banding and marking some 300 geese over the summer to try to figure out why. So, no Sept. hunt due to the decline. I believe that is east side only.

I read on waterfowler.com that the waterfowl levels were UP in all 4 flyways significantly. Maybe that's duck only and not goose?
any reports on the duck hatch and what we're looking at there for Washington/pacific flyway?
