Bears

These pictures are from a set I had a couple of weeks ago. I had two cameras on this set. One camera was at ground level and it was aimed at another tree ten feet away. I had the other camera up in the second tree 13 feet off of the ground. That camera was aimed sttaight down to get pics of the bears climbing the tree..
I put apples in the tree to get pics of the bears climbing the tree

Very cool! I like the creative set! I love the blaze on that last bear - I have never seen a two-tone blaze like that. How many guys have had this view from there treestand?

The last picture is a yearling cub. It is the same cub that is laying on the ground below the blond cub. Its claws are reddish brown, and they are not bleeding. They stay away from the ground camera because they know that camera will bite them if they touch it. I have had two cameras completely destroyed by bears, but they don't go near the camera since I started using my bear boxes.

That is not blood below his knee. He had a stick stuck to his fur, and I tried to cover it up with Microsoft Paint. The color I used does not match very well. This is the unedited version of that pic. You guys are trying to get me in trouble with the tree huggers.

LOL, not trying to get you in trouble, just noticing things. You'll find you can't cover something like that up so easily with MS Paint on this website.
Awesome pictures though!

Dude those are awesome. Those are some nice looking bears. Not only are they color phase but they have those cool white chests. Lots of character.

Very cool pics, and that set up is awesome, getting the bears from two angles at the same time. Man, those bear boxes will even keep Bigfoot from bothering your cameras...

Young Bears. Cool pix. Has any of them used the Elk shed as a chew toy?
