heart attack buck
« on: July 26, 2009, 04:09:18 PM »
This is a video my son took the 25th of July.  The video quality is not the best, he calls him the heart attack buck.  Anybody got any guesses on a score?  He has seen this buck 3 or 4 times but always at dark.  He's hoping to catch him a little earlier to get some better video.  If he gets some better pics. or video, I'll post them.

I don't like guessing scores but I don't think as big as you think.  It's only a 3 point on the right side for sure.  It's wide but the beam length will be the score not the width.  Who cares about score, it's a great buck that is really wide.  Another good one cameraguy.

wow. We have nothing of that size where I hunt. One of the State Grounds is behind my back yard. I really need to start hunting other area's.  :bash:

Yeah Pope, it only has the 3 on one side but my son was wondering about how big it was.  I told him I didn't know exactly but come bow season, I'll go let the air out of him to give him a better idea.  Ricochet came over this weekend, he's down taking pics. down on the refuge.  I had to work so I was unable to go down and meet up with him.  I was down there last week and saw a few nice bucks, but I'm sure Ricochet will have found some nice ones to get  some pics. of down there.  Hopefully this November we can get together for a photo trip.

Absolutely beautiful buck, but as the other guys said don't worry about the book, he won't score that well due to the week forks. Don't matter though, he's an absolute dandy..... :twocents:

Wow, that's one nice buck, and he has some long brow tines, I seen only one like that in Washington that wasn't quite that big. That buck must be over 30 inches wide
