In the feeder I use Purina deer chow and I have put in some acorn pellets from cabelas the feeder has been great I spin it 2 or 3 times a day 5 to 8 seconds it's almost a year old and still on the first battery. The blocks I get from the hardware store in Winthrop along with the deer chow. I put some Purina flock raiser out for the turkey but the deer love it so I throw a few handfuls in the grass in different places for them to find. I bought a bag of washed cracked corn last weekend and they really like that but corn is mostly a filler that tastes good not much nutrition. This spring I also planted a 2500 sq ft food plot of whitetail institute alfa rack plus and no plow.

I'll try the purina chow...been using cracked corn...deer corn (cabelas) alfalfa pellets..a litlle of everthing but they seem to like the clover/beet/radish patch better than the feeder chow... coons like the cracked corn  :P
