No trapper classes in the near funture.
« on: August 17, 2009, 11:08:57 AM »
I wrote an email to WDFW telling them that there was a lot of interest in a trapping class and asked if there was one in the works or if I could do anything to help get people signed in advanced for the next one.  I got a response today that was pretty lame.

My email

I was looking for some info on when there will be a trapper education class somewhere on the west side.  I am a member of www.hunting-washington.com and there is a lot of interest in trapper education there.  I read the at home study guide but dont feel I learned enough and would love to attend a class.  I would be happy to pass on any class info to the rest of the members or if needed I could ask for a list of people that would interested in attending a class.

The response.

Nathan,

I have not heard of a West Side class at this time.

 Dan Boes

I have talked to Dan before and he seems like a nice guy.  I also heard he volunteers to do these classes but I dont know if that is true.  I just thought the email was pretty lame.

Great news Rasbo.  I would also like the details when you get them.  Hopefully it is not during early archery elk.
