Saw a bull the other day...

A lone bull, I think he was a 4x4?

He was about 250 yards away and there was a thicket in between, think I should hide in there and call him in if I see it during season?

I'm new to archery elk, any tips on calling?

It will be one in a million that he will be in that area come opening day.  Couldnt hurt to try that general area see if u get lucky or if other elk are around.  If its an area that you have seen him more than once that willl increase your odds.
