went out to shoot this morning. shot 30yds(all i can get out of the yard) first couple of shot where good but i dont know what happened i kept shooting about5 inches low and to the left. i just put a new string suppressor on my bow sat and adjusted my sight about a month ago. i just cant figure out what i am doing wrong
. i can usually shot a really tight group at 30 about the size of the bottom of a pop can with 6 arrows. if you have any sugguestion let me know getting to close to hunting season.

are you shooting broadheads or field tips?i am wondering if your bow came out of tune, idoubt if the string silencer did anything but slow the bow a few feet per second. if your sights were sighted in before and now not something came out of tune.are your arrows flying straight or fluttering?

First off put your bow down and walk away. I have found that some days are just ''bad days''. If you give it a break and then go back and shoot a few hours later of even the next day and have the same problem it is safe to say that something is not right. Human error accounts for many problems.
1) are you checking your level?
2) is your string too long?
3) are your set points the same with every shot? I.E. is your string coming back to the same place on your face every shot.
I set my bow so that i can draw with closed eyes and once comfortable i open my eyes and i should be looking through my peep. That seems to help me a lot. There could be a million reasons for what youre talking about. Those are just a few things I would check

i would shoot a couple of field tips then switch to broad heads. they both flew dead on before. it could just be an off day. i know my string is the right, i make sure i am level on every shot and i have a kisser button on my string so i should be coming back to the same spot every time. arrow look like there flying straight down range. i will give it a break and try again tomorrow morning. i shot 20yds this morning too and it was dead on weather i used broad heads or field tips that why i was going crazy.

I am just following this, to see if you just had an off day.

Could be something to do with your grip on the bow or your release point. I have done that before and driven myself crazy trying to figure out what I was doing wrong - even after shooting 1 or 2 "correctly." Best thing to do is set the bow down for a bit and come back tomorrow. Hopefully, the problem will fix itself. If you were shooting a group with the arrows but they were just in the wrong place, chances are it has something to do with form rather than your bow.

Probably a loose grip or tighter grip, Next time try a loose grip and then a tighter grip see if it makes a difference

I was kinda having the same issues and then i bought a limb saver tentacle bow wrap for the grip and it worked wonders.Give one of those a try and see if that helps.

Too many cups of coffee and no breakfast is my guess. Try again this evening.

+1 for the grip. I was having problems getting groups a while back, until I was told my grip and stance were wrong. Corrected them and my groups instantly got tighter.

Well I was doing the same thing, shooting nuts on with field points then down and to the left with broadheads...I finally realized I was punching the darn trigger. Once I got back to my smooth trigger pull I was dead on with my broadheads as well.

Had a bad day myself. I bought some new broadheads because the old ones are pretty chewed up from target practice. Anyhow, I tried to cheap it this year and bought some new ones and I went from a 2 inch group at 20yds to a 2 foot group at 20yds. I backed up to 30 and could see my arrows whirling around instead of going straight. Good thing tomarrow is pay day. I'll have to get some of the same ones I had last year.

sometimes you just have a bad day. I shoot quite a bit, and every month and a half or so, I'll pick up the bow and it feels totally different and wrong to me, my groups stink and it feels like I just started shooting for the first time. I put the bow away and the next day am right back in the groove, can't explain it, it just happens.

Sometimes when we want to see how well our arrows are flying we inadvertantly pull the bow low and left (right handed shooters) to see the arrow. Try paying more attention to your follow through.

Ya, this is where I think alot of people over think it. Bad Day.... if your set-up was good the day before then set the bow down and walk away. Don't start tweeking or adjusting at the first sign of trouble, you are your worst enemy right now. It is a bad day, come back in the evening or tomorrow.
